Race Engine Systems doesn't end at the shop door. Craig Gerfen is active in the racing community and provides hands-on trackside support — computerized engine tuning, power management, and real-time problem solving at the venue.
What Trackside Support Covers
RES trackside support includes computerized engine tuning, data review, power management adjustments, and mechanical diagnosis during race events. When conditions change at the track — weather, track prep, a mechanical issue — Craig is there to make the call, not reachable by phone.
This level of involvement is part of the RES customer relationship. It isn't an add-on service.
National Racing Venues
RES is active at PSCA, WCHRA, SCSN, NMCA, and other national drag racing organizations. Customer vehicles supported by Craig trackside hold records across multiple classes and venues. That track record is the result of consistent engine performance and consistent tuning support.
How It Works
Trackside support is tied to the RES customer relationship. If Craig built your engine or your heads, he has the build data and tune history to work on your car effectively at an event.
Trackside support is arranged in advance — coordinate with Craig before the event. It isn't a walk-up service at the track. Call or reach out through the contact form to discuss your program and upcoming schedule. The earlier Craig knows about an event, the better the preparation.
