An RES engine doesn't leave the shop on a spec sheet. It leaves on a dyno sheet. Every complete engine build is dyno-tuned before delivery — verified numbers, not estimates.
What the Dyno Confirms
Dyno testing validates power output, air/fuel ratio, ignition timing, and mechanical reliability under load. Issues that don't surface during assembly — fueling irregularities, timing curve problems, cooling flow anomalies — show up on the dyno before they show up at the track.
For Craig, the engine dyno is also the final quality check on the build. If the engine doesn't perform to spec on the dyno, it doesn't ship. That standard applies to every complete build that leaves the shop.
Standalone Dyno Tuning
RES also accepts engines for standalone dyno tuning — including engines not built at the shop. If your combination needs to be properly dialed in, Craig can establish a baseline, evaluate your current tune, and work through fueling and timing to find the real number.
Dyno sessions are by appointment. Call or reach out through the contact form to discuss your combination before scheduling.
From the Dyno to the Track
A solid dyno tune is the foundation. Conditions at the track, however, are not the same as conditions in the shop. RES trackside support extends the tuning work from the dyno to the staging lanes — same level of attention and data, at the venue.
